Meet Dr. Arya Ghandeharizadeh

Dr. Arya Ghandeharizadeh is a friendly and attentive general dentist based in Rockaway, New Jersey. Don’t let the long last name scare you, he prides himself in making the dental experience fun and easy! Dr. Arya completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, and continued his education at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine where he earned his Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry. In his last year of dental school, Dr. Arya was chosen among a select group of students to work at an extramural dental site where he treated medically complex patients. During this experience, he learned how to manage complicated treatment plans and the importance of making each dental experience a comfortable and positive one.

To Dr. Arya, dentistry is not just drilling and filling, but a combination of art and science. Although he loves many aspects of dentistry, Dr. Arya is most fond of getting to know each one of his patients. He believes the most important part of patient care is taking a personalized approach, because every patient—and every smile—is unique. Whether a patient’s concern is cosmetic, restorative, or a dental emergency, Dr. Arya creates a genuine connection with his patients and provides them with the excellent, individualized care they need.
